Root vegetables are in season right now & are at their best following that first frost which brings out their sweetness. Swede, beetroot, turnips & parsnips are at their best this month.
Whilst Halloween may be over, pumpkins & squash are still great right now.
Apples, quince & pears are still in season whilst winter satsumas, clementines & cranberries start to make an appearance too.
